As a therapist, I’m passionate about creating a safe, collaborative space to help you achieve meaningful change. I hold a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Lubbock Christian University and use a strength-based, trauma-informed approach to support resilience and healthy coping. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or life transitions, I aim to meet you where you are and empower you to move forward in ways that align with your goals.
As a veteran, I bring personal insight into the unique challenges faced by service members, first responders, and others in high-stress roles. I began my career working with veterans, first responders, and their families. I still work closely with this population today, and I also work with civilians. I have experience working with complex trauma and many forms of addiction. I have experience addressing PTSD, anxiety, depression, OCD, addictive behaviors, adults that have experienced physical, emotional, and psychological abuse, and adults that have unresolved childhood trauma. I’ve helped veterans work through combat/military trauma/civilian life stressors and first responders manage stressors in their career and other areas of life. I understand narcissism, and help people understand and heal from narcissistic abuse. I also work with teens between age 15-17 years old. I have a client centered, attachment based approach. I’m trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Dear THP Clients,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to inform you of an important change regarding my practice at The Hope Place. As of May 2, 2025, I will be transitioning out of my role at The Hope Place and moving my practice to a new location. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for allowing me to be a part of your therapeutic journey. It has been an honor to work with you, and I am committed to ensuring a smooth transition in your care.
To accommodate my clients during this transition, I will maintain regular business hours at The Hope Place on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM until my departure. Additionally, I would like to offer you the following options for continuing your therapeutic services:
1) Transition with Me to Vigeo Wellness – I will continue providing outpatient counseling services in person and virtually at Vigeo Wellness, and you are welcome to follow me there if you would like to continue working together. To schedule call: (817) 672-8602
2) ADHD Assessments at Lifeology Midlothian – If you are seeking ADHD assessments, I will be offering these services through Lifeology Midlothian for the time being. To schedule call: (214) 530-2335
3) Referral Options – If you prefer, I can provide you with referrals to another therapist within The Hope Place or to another qualified mental health provider outside of The Hope Place.
I am happy to work with you to coordinate your care with any of these options or assist with the discharge process if you decide not to continue counseling services at this time. If I do not hear back from you regarding your preferred course of action, I will proceed with discharging you from my care.
Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or to discuss the best option for your ongoing therapeutic needs. I appreciate the trust you have placed in me, and I wish you all the best in your continued journey toward health and well-being.
Take care,
